BRAVE COMBO Opens a Beautiful Sunday at the 1979 Fort Worth MAYFEST

12 noon

We all met at the pancake house as planned and proceeded to the Mayfest.  Since we only had one sticker, we had to condense the contents and people from three cars and one truckload of equipment down to one truck.  This was pretty heavy.  We made it soon to the stage and proceeded to set up and play.  The Mayfest did not open ’til 12 noon so hardly anyone was there and they were all sober.  But we got them started !  Scott Mortan’s parents and sister came, as did Margaret from the Back Door (Hip Pocket).  Steve from Yesteryears showed up when we finished.

We stood around and watched some clog-dancing then me and Danny split.
