Polka Indoors w/Brave Combo!

The Hip Pocket Theater

We played fairly well.  Problems with – money and communication (we thought the hat pass, Hip Pocket thought cover charge) so we felt that some people left without entering our domain.

Rick an actor in the play, wanted to tape us, brought out a huge Roberts deck, and no mics, he wanted to plug into our PA.   We let him, and he really got in the way for a while.  We were also crammed in the corner and couln’t hear too well.  While people said it sounded good, it sounded imbalanced to me.

I set up lights on the band, which only served to alienate us from the audience by blinding us.  By the end we cut down to one blue light.  Next time, we light the audience also I think, so we can get some feedback.
