An Intimate Little Concert by BRAVE COMBO

At the Hip Pocket Theater

We tried our act again yet not many people were attracted by our (plks).

As a matter of fact we played our asses off.  (played well!)

At first most of the dancers were the little kids from the “Wizard of Oz: (the last night for this show).  Shelley Cushman, Diane Gregg,  Jim and Lee Kitchens were friends from Denton that came.

Found out later that Jimmy Joe, the old man of the Hip Pocket, had shaved his beard off before an admiring crowd,  thereby stealing the first part of our show.  I wish we had been told he was going to do this – we could have helped him along.

So for about 30 or so staunch Brave Combo fans, we played a helluva show.

$10 (split 4 ways after gas deductions = $1.25 apiece)
