BRAVE COMBO GETS ‘EM HOPPIN’ AT THE HOP

The Hop, Berry St., Ft. Worth

We had a good deal.  Set up by six o’clock, but don’t start ’til 9:30.  My

“fish combo” was great, as all the food there seemed to be.  Carl, Jane, and Dave and I went to Bob Lukeman’s studio to relax before the gig;  I warmed up also.

The crowd was sprinkled with Hip Pocket people and others who’d heard us at Tootsie’s.  They were most receptive – screaming etc.  We played until one AM, I think, with several encores.  It was most gratifying.  Except the money was not that great.
