BRAVE COMBO Gets a Break: 20 minutes before “Baggy Pants” at Granny’s Dinner Theater in Dallas!

All of Lyle’s finagling paid off as we found ourselves before a captive audience of 520 upper[middle class consumers.  We were in the odd position of not having a bass player, as Lyle’s equipment would not produce sound.  Ironic!

Carl, Dave, and I did it as a trio – we had (fortunately!) practiced without Lyle a few days before.  It sounded weird!   Carl was real soft.  Dave played fairly soft.

Skater’s Waltz – solo couple appears and starts dancing.

Carl says we practiced all afternoon

El Choclo – same

Petite Fleur – several couples

Beer Barrel – solo attempts

Zorro Polka – none

Tea for Two – many dance, some leave when we enter the CHA-CHA-CHA
