BRAVE COMBO PERFORMING HITS OF THE 60S

Strauss Square Uncovered, the concert series created to bring classic hits for you to enjoy at the outdoor venue, will finish up the series with the Grammy award-winning Brave Combo. The Denton-based band will cover the hits of the 60’s. Groovy! Opening up for Brave Combo will be the even braver, talented kids from School of Rock.

BRAVE COMBO – Known for their impeccable musicianship and lively approach to genres from A-to-Z, Brave Combo will cover the 60s in an unforgettable concert experience. With a set list including The Doors, The Who, The Bee Gees, Cream and more, Brave Combo will interpret the classics as only they can. From the psychedelic to the pop-inspired, the hits of the 60s will be reimagined through their unique musical lens.

Brave Combo has found critical acclaim from respected musicians and tastemakers, with fans as diverse as David Byrne and Matt Groening. The band performs covers as well as original hits, but always gifts fans with a party-like approach to music – something to be celebrated, enjoyed and explored. Founder Carl Finch started Brave Combo in 1979, and is still going strong, alongside bandmates Danny O’Brien, Alan Emert, Lyle Atkinson and Robert Hokamp. They are a Grammy-award winning band featured in numerous television shows, feature films and have played live extensively throughout their career.
