It’s A Brave, Brave Christmas Show!

The Dallas Winds presents A Brave Christmas at the Meyerson on Monday, December 21st at 7:30 p.m. in the Meyerson Symphony Center.

Three-time Grammy Award nominee Dallas Winds joins mulitple Grammy Award winning polka/blues/rock band Brave Combo for a Christmas concert of holiday favorites served up with a polka-licious twist or two.

Guest conductor/pianist Jeff Hellmer, Director of Jazz Studies at the University of Texas at Austin will lead the combined bands. Hellmer says, “It’s a family friendly show with just about every Christmas song in the book including a traditional audience sing-along. We’ve also commissioned a one-of-a-kind arrangement of “A Charlie Brown Christmas” in honor of the TV show’s 50th anniversary. The last time Brave Combo and the Dallas Winds worked together, we had everyone in the Meyerson dancing The Twist, audience members in the aisles and our players on stage. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Santa dancing this year!”
